But they did.  In fact, installed over three years ago, two Xiris XVC-1000e [weld cameras ](https://www.xiris.com/weld-monitoring-cameras/)were installed in a tandem MIG welding operation.  Over the past two years, they have been operating 24 hours per day, 7 days per week in some of the harshest MIG welding conditions amidst extensive smoke, fumes and weld spatter.
